Gut renovation for a family a young married couple looking to upgrade from their studio apartment in the West Village to a two-bedroom on a budget.

The hallways and circulation was cut down to a minimum, making every room look spacious and comfortable making the best use of the natural light and the views to the East River and Manhattan. The walls are embellished by a wonderful emerging art collection. The rugs and textile design were designed by Vergara and made custom by her product brand GRES.

This project was made from start to finish; including architectural layout and finishes, design and decoration.
